Posted in I never thought that in my lifetime and in my career as a travel agency owner, I would see bargains that were caused by a health crisis. But here we are with the swine flu scare. People, for whatever reason, are avoiding the resorts in Mexico, despite the swine flu being by and large neutralized. But what this does is provide some major travel package bargains for you, the traveller. And I am here to tell you – other than precautions that you would take going to Mexico, nothing has really changed all that much.
A good example of this is that the Cancun visitors bureau has been filming testimonials from visitors already in Mexico, including Americans, Europeans and Canadians – so the health scare is by and large unfounded.
While the swine flu situation is nothing to sneeze at – no pun intended – the chances of you catching this virus are minimal. As what I have heard and watch over the television and internet, swine flu really has great impact mostly on the airline industry all over the world. However, I am very optimistic that we can be free with it soon.
