Blame the economy.  Blame Rio (Ok, that was a stretch!).  In any case, when the economy is strong, it is hard to find bargains if you’re jonesing for a trip to the Caribbean.  But thanks to the anemic U.S. economy, there’s some actual bargains out there.  And yes folks, this includes “all-inclusives”.

Many of the deals available offer incentives (resort/spa credits, food & beverage credits, etc.); besides the Caribbean, one can find some decent deals in Costa Rica, as well.  Another factor?  The weather is pretty darn good.
